ROCKERS ON PATCHES MAY NOT BE A GOOD IDEA
We have received reports from many areas of the country that our riders have been
harassed and/or threatened because of the rockers that they wear with their back
patch.
(Some have been run off the road and others have been physically attacked.)

While no official position exists concerning rockers it may be prudent to ask
ourselves if the piece of cloth is worth the aggravation. We must all remember that
in the world of the M/C the rockers are of great significance, and that many who
subscribe to the lifestyle are offended by the use of rockers by non M/C groups.

The choice is yours but it is important to remember that whatever position you take
can and often will effect all in the ALR. Having the blessing of the M/C in your area
often means absolutely nothing should you travel any distance.

It is understood that for many of us the rockers are a matter of principle. But, please
don't forget that not all ALR are veterans. Let's think twice before we put our female
and elderly members in jeopardy.

At the very least it is strongly recommended that all ALR members have at least
some understanding of the M/C protocol. Please click on the link below to obtain a
better understanding.
